As Dhurandhar: The Revenge continues its dominating run at the box office, the makers of Akshay Kumar’s Bhooth Bangla are reportedly considering postponing the film’s release from April 10 to April 17. During its extended theatrical run, the action sequel starring Ranveer Singh has been doing exceptionally well, causing industry insiders to worry about competition.
According to a source of Bollywood Hungama, the massive success of Dhurandhar: The Revenge has created a strong hold in cinemas that may not fade quickly. “The way Dhurandhar The Revenge is performing, it is clear that the craze is not going to die down anytime soon. Additionally, Bhooth Bangla appears to be an exciting film. But since Dhurandhar 2 is doing historic business, there’s a strong possibility that it could perform exceptionally well even in its fourth week, which coincides with the release of Bhooth Bangla. In the meantime, no Hindi movie is currently scheduled to come out on April 17,” the source stated. The situation, however, is not entirely polarized.
